Reports claim that Juventus are closing on a deal for Francisco Conceiçao, after FC Porto opened up to a loan with option to buy that can become an obligation under certain conditions at €30m.

The son of former Inter, Lazio and Parma star Sergio Conceiçao is only 21 years old, but already made a name for himself playing under his father.

He can play on the right or left wing, making him a versatile tactical figure, and would be in addition to Nico Gonzalez’s arrival from Fiorentina.

According to A Bola, the clubs are very close to shaking hands on the agreement.

Why Francisco Conceiçao is now ready for Juventus

Although talks have been going on for a few weeks, the important shift was that FC Porto agreed to make it a loan with obligation to buy only under certain circumstances.

Juve would’ve preferred an option, whereas the Portuguese side needed at least some guarantees the transfer would be completed in 2025.

The overall cost of the operation is believed to be set at €30-35m including add-ons.

Conceiçao has been told he is not part of the plans under new coach Vitor Bruno, especially as his situation was tied to the controversial exit of his father from the management role.
