Denis Zakaria made his Chelsea debut in last night’s Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb, effectively tying him to the club this season.
The 25-year-old Swiss midfielder joined the Blues on a loan deal with a buy option attached from Juventus on transfer deadline day, making a last minute move to the Premier League. Zakaria had not had a chance to show his skills under either Thomas Tuchel or Graham Potter this campaign, being left on the bench for the last two months, but things changed yesterday.
As highlighted by journalist Romeo Agresti, Zakaria made his Chelsea debut against Dinamo Zagreb yesterday, playing for a second club this season. The Swiss midfielder made two Serie A appearances for Juventus back in August.
Because Zakaria has played for both Juventus and Chelsea this season, the rules state that he’s unable to make an appearance for a third club, effectively keeping him in West London until the end of the season.
Thats good, we have no place
