La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Supercoppa Italiana will be played between January 18 and January 22, 2024, so four Serie A games involving Inter, Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli will be rescheduled.

Lega Serie A are expected to confirm dates for the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana today, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

It was initially meant to be played between January 4 and January 8, 2024, and then between January 21 and January 25, but kick-off times and dates had never been officially confirmed.

Now, according to Gazzetta, there has been a third change that will see the Supercoppa Italiana be played between January 18 and January 22 next year. It is the first time that four teams are involved in the Supercoppa Italiana, with semi-finals and Final.

Dates are likely to be confirmed today. Serie A champions Napoli should face Coppa Italia finalists Fiorentina in the first semi-final on Thursday, January 18, while the second semi-final between Coppa Italia winners Inter and Serie A runners-up Lazio should be played on Friday, January 19.

The Final should be played on Monday, January 22. Games will be staged in Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

If the dates are confirmed, Serie A games involving the Supercoppa clubs will be rescheduled between February and March, reports Gazzetta.

Inter are meant to host Atalanta at San Siro that weekend, while Fiorentina should meet Bologna at the Stadio Dall’Ara, with Lazio and Napoli playing away at Torino and Sassuolo, respectively.
