Inter have reportedly decided to rejuvenate the playing squad ahead of the 2023-24 season, and, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, could let four senior players leave San Siro over the course of this summer.

Edin Dzeko will not be signing a new deal with the Nerazzurri, and with his contract set to expire next week, reports claim that he is ‘ready’ to sign for Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.

Another who is approaching the final days of their Inter contracts is 34-year-old defender Danilo D’Ambrosio. The current vice-captain joined the team in 2014 and has since gone on to make 284 league appearances and score 21 goals for Inter, but won’t be continuing into next season.

Marcelo Brozovic is also continuing to head towards a San Siro exit, although his destination is yet to be confirmed. Both Barcelona and Saudi side Al-Nassr are said to be in a bidding war for the 30-year-old Croatian, who is valued at around €25 by his current employers.

There is also expected to be a series of changes in the Nerazzurri goalkeeping department this summer, with Samir Handanovic’s future also up in the air. His contract will also expire next week, but La Gazzetta reports that Inter have not yet reached a final decision.

There is also sustained interest from the Premier League in first-choice stopper Andre Onana, particularly from Chelsea and Manchester United, although Inter’s asking price of around €60m-€70m is thought to be a stumbling block.
