Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is in London to work on deals for four potential new signings, including a pair of Scotland internationals, Benfica winger David Neres and, of course, Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.

Napoli pushing for four new signings

The Partenopei official arrived in the English capital on Tuesday, and is expected to conduct important meetings with agents and his counterparts from a number of different European clubs throughout Thursday.

He is expected to push for agreements for Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour, plus the aforementioned Neres and Lukaku, while Manchester United’s Scott McTominay has also emerged as an enticing option should the club raise funds through the sale of Victor Osimhen.

Much still depends on the Nigerian’s departure. Manna will also hold talks with Chelsea over a potential sale, given the West Londoners’ recent failure to sign Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion.

Osimhen himself, meanwhile, remains keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

If Napoli are able to sell Osimhen this summer, reports claim they are prepared to spend somewhere in the region of €30m on each of Lukaku, Neres, and McTominay. Gilmour, meanwhile, is expected to go for around €15m including bonuses.

The club have an agreement in principle with Benfica over a €30m offer for Neres. Napoli’s latest offer for Lukaku also stands at the €30m mark, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
