Napoli defender Raul Albiol will reportedly miss the rest of the season after choosing to undergo surgery.
Reports had suggested Albiol would be back in two months as he considered stem cell therapy, but Corriere dello Sport writes he will not return until June after opting to go under the knife.
The newspaper explains ‘the pain was too much’ for the 34-year-old to put off surgery any longer, while his age prolongs the length of his recovery time.
