Theo Hernandez, Rade Krunic, Mike Maignan, Sandro Tonali and Milan have all been fined due to their behaviour during their Scudetto celebrations.

The atmosphere in the streets of the Lombardy capital was electric and alive following the Rossoneri’s win over Sassuolo in the final game of the season. Thousands of fans turned up to celebrate their first Scudetto in over a decade and the players later paraded the trophy around the city streets.

As announced by the FIGC, the four Milan stars have received fines as a result of the offensive chants against intercity rivals Inter and the raising of a banner referencing their Coppa Italia semi-final derby defeat.

Runic was handed a €5000 fine and teammates Theo Hernandez, Maignan and Tonali received a €4000 sanction. Milan were also punished, being fined €12,000 as a result of the behaviour.

With both Milan teams winning a Scudetto within the last two years, next season could see the two teams again fighting neck and neck at the top.
