Juventus are looking around for alternatives to Jean-Clair Todibo and have identified four possible options to bolster their defence.

The Bianconeri were hoping to snatch the French centre back from OGC Nice this month but failed to agree terms with the Ligue 1 side, who had accepted an offer from West Ham. After weeks of waiting, the player’s patience finally snap and he accepted a move to England.

Juventus now have to find another defender to strengthen Thiago Motta’s defence this summer. In the meantime, they’re working on completing a deal for Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez and Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners.

Page three of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Juventus have identified four alternative options after Todibo’s decision to move to West Ham, starting with Ajax’s Josip Sutalo, who could be brought in through a swap deal involving Daniele Rugani.

Other options for the Bianconeri include Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior, Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix and Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet.
