Former Manchester United teammates of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba congratulated the France international after his season debut with Juventus on Tuesday.
On Instagram, the World Cup winner posted a selection of photos and videos from the Allianz Stadium along with the caption: “All smiles for tonight, so happy to be back. Thank you for the warm welcome.”
The post has been liked by close to 1.4 million accounts and commented on over 7,000 times.
Among the well-wishers are a number of Pogba’s Juve teammates including Angel di Maria, Juan Cuadrado, Danilo and Bremer.
Some of the current crops of Manchester United players, who know Pogba well from his time at Old Trafford have also sent their congratulations, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.
Currently on Pogba’s Instagram story is a collection of videos and messages from friends, family and supporters.
It also appears that Pogba swapped shirts with fellow Frenchman and Torino midfielder, Brian Bayeye after the derby in Turin.
Pogba is Juve’s lucky charm when it comes to the Derby della Mole, having won 100% of the games against Torino in which the Frenchman has featured.
Juventus also celebrated Pogba’s return with a picture on Instagram.
