Inter striker Diego Forlan is looking forward to experiencing his first Milan derby on Sunday evening.

“Everyone who has played in the game has told me about the special atmosphere,” the 32-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.

“I’ve always wanted to play in these types of games and I just can’t wait for the match to actually start.”

The Uruguayan international joined the Nerazzurri in the summer after the Italian club sold Samuel Eto’o to Anzhi.

Forlan has struggled to get a game for the club so far though after being hampered by a number of fitness issues.

The South American has scored one goal in eight Serie A appearances – even if he has started just six ties.
