Paulo Fonseca and his staff left motivational messages inside Milan‘s locker room at San Siro in the derby against Inter, writing ‘courage’ in different languages.

The Rossoneri beat their city rivals Inter on Sunday, ending a six-game losing streak against the Nerazzurri and allowing Fonseca to keep his job at San Siro.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has spotted a detail inside the Rossoneri locker room at San Siro showing that Fonseca and his staff motivated the team by writing ‘courage’ in different languages.

The message was translated into each player’s language and placed over their seats in the dressing room.

The tactical approach did the rest as Fonseca surprised Inter with a 4-4-2 formation with Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham in the starting XI.

The Rossoneri have eight points in five games, three below table leaders Torino, and will host Lecce at San Siro in the next Serie A match this Friday.
