According to Il Corriere dello Sport, not even a draw in the derby della Madonnina against Inter will be enough for Paulo Fonseca to save his job, while Igor Tudor is also being considered as a possible replacement.

Milan coach Fonseca is under intense scrutiny at San Siro, having won just one match from the opening five in all competitions.

Multiple reports claim the Rossoneri will sack the Portuguese if they lose against city rivals Inter on Sunday, but according to the latest report from Corriere dello Sport, even a draw may not be enough.

Fonseca must beat Inter to avoid Milan sack as Tudor emerges

It is reported that Rossoneri directors and RedBird advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic are unhappy with the results and performances under the new coach. The defence has been particularly disappointing as Milan look even more fragile than under Stefano Pioli.

Corriere dello Sport confirms that Maurizio Sarri, Edin Terzic and Thomas Tuchel are being considered as possible replacements for Fonseca, but the latest name added to Milan’s watchlist is ex-Lazio and Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor.

A former Croatia international, Tudor left Lazio in June and is currently without a club. According to Corriere dello Sport, he’s on good terms with Ibrahimovic, and his managerial abilities ‘tempt’ the Rossoneri directors.

  1. Wait? That arrogant smuck is unhappy? LOL, he was the one who suggested Fonseca LMAO … absolutely mental !!

  2. From one disaster to another. That club has been poorly operated from top to bottom ever since Silvio gave up the keys, with one fluke Leicester title. One disaster owner to another when all they had to do was sell to the Middle East. At least it would have given them money. They cannot afford Tuchel period. Inter will dominate the derby for 50 years straight and gain a 3rd star before Milan can even get a 2nd.
