According to the report, Milan have agreed to pay €14m as a fixed fee but the Rossoneri remain in talks with Monaco regarding bonuses to include in the deal.

Fofana has already reached a full agreement with the Serie A giants.

Milan owner Gerry Cardinale received updates from club directors on Monday and according to Gazzetta, the Rossoneri decided to intensify talks with Monaco following interest from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport on page 13, however, the Red Devils and the Colchoneros’ interest in Fofana means the Rossoneri will have to work even harder to reach an agreement with Monaco while Strahinja Pavlovic is ‘closer’ to joining the Rossoneri from RB Salzburg.
