The Italian has since apologised to fans, but is not expected to feature for Juan Antonio Anquela’s team again.

Parent club Udinese are set to recall him during the January transfer window and then immediately sell him to Genoa.

The former Napoli player has made 12 appearances in League and Cup for Granada this season, scoring just one goal.

Genoa know Floro Flores well after he netted 10 goals in 18 games for the Grifone during a loan spell in 2011.
