Alessandro Florenzi suffered a meniscus injury yesterday and will undergo keyhole surgery tomorrow.

The Italy international was introduced in the final 30 minutes against the Rossoblu yesterday, sustaining an injury in his left knee.

The 31-year-old underwent medical examinations in the morning and according to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, exams highlighted a meniscus tear.

For this reason, Florenzi will undergo keyhole surgery in Rome tomorrow. Therefore, the defender’s season is over and it remains to be seen if the Rossoneri will make his move from Roma permanent.
