They all had the same basic story, which was a loan deal with option to buy at the end of the season.

According to La Roma Siamo Noi, the financial details are going to be €500,000 for the loan, with an option to buy for a further €9m.

Florenzi has just returned from a loan move to Valencia in January and the 29-year-old is still not part of Roma coach Paulo Fonseca’s plans.

His versatility makes him a valuable asset, able to play at right-back, left-back, as a winger, part of a trident attack or as a midfielder.

It’s reported Florenzi will fly out to Paris this evening and undergo his medical tomorrow or Saturday.
