Antonio Conte’s side meet Die Mannschaft in the Euro 2016 Quarter-Final, having beaten Spain on Sunday evening while Jogi Löw’s side played on Saturday.

“Anyone who thinks about them having rested one more day is a loser,” Florenzi declared in a Press conference.

“Excuses are for losers. We just need to think about taking our strength and putting it on the pitch, all of us 23 can do something important.

“We’ve climbed a big peak, and now there’s Everest. We’re united though, with the certainty that we’re a good squad.”

Germany have never beaten the Azzurri in a competitive match, but Florenzi doesn’t believe that will be important.

“You don’t prepare a game just saying that you won the last one. We went to work immediately after Spain, we watched the video and tried to find weaknesses in a team that doesn’t have many.

“We’re working on it, we’ll try to hit them.

“Conte? He’s given us all his technical knowledge, but also his strong personality. We players have worked to make sure we take what the boss says and do it on the pitch.

“Sometimes we’ve done very well, at other times less well. It’s good to play and have the ball, you know that you’ll find a teammate in position.”
