Italy Coach Antonio Conte may introduce Alessandro Florenzi. Mattia De Sciglio and Simone Zaza to face Sweden.

The Azzurri's remarkable start to Euro 2016, with a 2-0 win over favourites Belgium, does not imply that the starting XI will be wholly confirmed for the next game.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte is considering two changes for his squad's turnover as he prepares to face Sweden on Friday, in the match that may earn him early qualification from Group E.

Lazio's Marco Parolo may give up his place to his Roma counterpart, Florenzi, whilst Matteo Darmian could be replaced with De Sciglio.

The changes are meant among other things to keep Italy's fuel tanks full, as they are the team that ran the longest distances of any other in Euro 2016 so far, with almost 120km covered collectively in the first game.

There is also the possibility that Zaza may get a starter's shirt, though in this case the decision has less to do with tactics and more with Graziano Pelle's fitness.

Pelle dislocated his little finger and was at the receiving end of a nasty foot stomp against Belgium, and he may be given some recovery time for the next game.
