Florenzi considering Cagliari move

Alessandro Florenzi could be reunited with Radja Nainggolan and Eusebio Di Francesco by leaving Roma for Cagliari this summer.

The right-back went on loan to Valencia in January because he was not part of Paulo Fonseca’s plans and is expected to move on again for next season.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the favourites are Cagliari, because there is quite a former Giallorossi colony being created in Sardinia.

Nainggolan already moved there on loan from Inter last summer and is pushing to make it permanent.

The club just hired coach Di Francesco, so Florenzi would be surrounded by friends and receive regular playing time.

The only concern noted in the report is his €3m per year salary.
