Flamengo are ready to return to the charge for Alexis Sanchez, looking to pick up another Inter player following their recent acquisition on Arturo Vidal.

The Chilean midfielder will soon be officially announced by the Brazilian club and his transfer will allow the Nerazzurri to save more than €10m gross on the next budget review. Flamengo were one of many clubs turned down by Sanchez in recent weeks as they looked to complete a double move with Inter, but they’re not willing to give up just yet.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Flamengo are ready to increase their offer to Sanchez and they’re willing to pay him around $3.5m net per season. The Brazilian side are in a hurry and want to finish up their transfer market business within the next 10 days, so a definitive answer is expected soon.

The departure of Sanchez could give Inter enough breathing room to finally close out a deal with Paulo Dybala, a move many are concerned could collapse soon, but that’s still a little unclear for the time being.

  1. be really risky for flamengo to buy him, every south african drops when they head back – they dont need him, they need to focus on a player who they can sell in few yrs for decent money.

Have no idea why the south american market dont try and run like ajax/benefica,lisborn – create the talent and sell to a mid european club.
I understand europe has the non eu rule, but its still acheivable, remember plenty of good clubs in the whole of europe to sell to=its not just 1 league
