Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti managed Ibrahimovic for a single season in 2012-13, before the former Milan boss moved on to Real Madrid.

Bologna hold a trump card in the shape of Coach Sinisa Mihailjovic, who has been friends with Zlatan for a number of years, but a move to the Emilia-Romagna outfit seems unlikely.

The 38-year-old recently watched Asif Kapadia's documentary on Diego Maradona and is seemingly intrigued by the idea of experiencing Naples for himself.

Ancelotti, for his part, is thought to have given the green light to a potential move.

The Swede played in Serie A for seven seasons with Juventus, Inter and Milan, prior to joining PSG in 2012.
