Flamengo are keen to take last season’s top-scorer, but the Nerazzurri want to recoup as much of the €33.5m they paid as they possibly can.
“Gabigol is a player under contract,” Marcos Braz pointed out, speaking to Fox Sports Brazil.
“We’re waiting for Inter, but this is a very complicated negotiation.”
Gabigol signed from Santos in the summer of 2016, but he scored only one goal for Inter and didn’t make a single Serie A start.
He was then loaned to Benfica but didn’t play there either, before being sent back to Santos on loan.
