According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter prefer Marcos Alonso to Emerson Palmieri and could ask to include him in a swap deal for Achraf Hakimi.

The Morocco international seems on the verge of leaving the Stadio Meazza with both PSG and Chelsea interested in securing his services.

The Nerazzurri need to sell one of their stars to keep their books balanced and the asking price for the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund winger is €80m.

Both Chelsea and PSG are believed to have made a bid in the region of €60m, which is still not enough for the Nerazzurri.

According to several reports, the Nerazzurri are not open to selling Hakimi in a player-plus-cash swap deal, but Il Corriere dello Sport suggests the Nerazzurri directors could change their mind if Chelsea offer Marcos Alonso.

The former Fiorentina man is reported to be Inter’s preferred option for the left flank, even ahead of Emerson Palmieri.

It is still unclear whether Chelsea would be open to including the Spanish left-back in the Hakimi deal, but they are surely available to do so with the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mateo Kovacic and Davide Zappacosta.
