Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus this summer after his contract expires, ending a seven-year stay in Turin. Here are five key moments from his time wearing black and white.

The 28-year-old Argentinian forward’s agent Jorge Antun met with the Bianconeri’s management today to clarify his future and it quickly became apparent that the club were not keen to renew his deal, preferring instead to start a new cycle with Dusan Vlahovic at the helm. The former Palermo man now has a few months to figure out where he will play next.

1 – Dybala’s delightful debut

Dybala made his first appearance for Juventus in their 2015 Supercoppa Italiana final against Lazio on August 8. Coming on in the 62nd minute of the match, it took him only nine minutes to find the back of the net, kicking off his Bianconeri career in the best possible way. He also scored on his first Serie A start for the Turin side in a 2-1 loss to Roma.

2 – First Scudetto

At the end of the 2015-16 season Dybala picked up his first major honours as a player, winning the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia. His fine debut season saw him voted into the Serie A Team of the Year, a crowning moment of a perfect 12 months in Turin. He scored 23 goals and provided seven assists in 46 games across all competitions.

3 – Adding to the history of Tottenham

Juventus travelled to Wembley in March 2018 for the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 clash against Tottenham. The first leg ended 2-2 in Turin, meaning Massimiliano Allegri’s side needed to score to keep their quarter-final hopes alive.

When they conceded a 39th minute goal to Heung-min Son, things looked bleak, but a Gonzalo Higuain equaliser in the 64th minute kept Juventus’ dreams alive. Minutes later, Dybala scored the decisive goal, sending Bianconeri fans wild as they booked their spot in the next round of the competition.

4 – A goal that swings a title race

When Juventus visited the Stadio Olimpico for their Serie A clash against Lazio on March 3 2018, they knew a victory was required. Going into the match, they sat one point behind league leaders Napoli, who were looking electric under Maurizio Sarri.

They had a tough duel against Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio side and it looked as if they’d drop points again to the Biancocelesti, until Dybala’s 93rd minute winner secured all three points for Allegri’s side. Napoli lost to Roma 4-2 that weekend, swinging the title race and putting Juve back on top.

5 – Refusing a summer in England

In the summer transfer window in 2019, Dybala was heavily targeted by a number of top Premier League clubs including Manchester United. Juventus were keen for a deal with the Red Devils, wanting to pick up Romelu Lukaku in exchange, but the Argentinian forward said no, turning down the move in favour of staying in Turin.
