Following their Scudetto victory, Inter are working to give five gifts to coach Simone Inzaghi ahead of next season.

The Nerazzurri mathematically secured their 2023-24 Scudetto on Monday following their Derby della Madonnina win over Milan. Their league title also earnt the club their second Scudetto star, a historic achievement for Inzaghi and his squad.

Inter have now started to work towards the next season, needing to bring in a number of reinforcements in the summer as they gear up to compete in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, the Champions League and the revamped Club World Cup.

Pages 10 and 11 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport detail how Inter’s management are working to secure five transfer market gifts for Inzaghi ahead of next season, keen to continue the club’s high-flying project.

The Nerazzurri are close to securing goalkeeper Bento and are also dreaming of a deal for Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee. Atalanta’s Emil Holm is also in the crosshairs as Denzel Dumfries looks likely to depart.

The other two gifts for Inzaghi come internally; the Milanese club are on the verge of agreeing new long-term contracts with Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella, confirming two key figures in the squad.
