Milan starlet Victor Eletu scored his first goal with the senior team on Thursday, one day after extending his contract with the Rossoneri thanks to his agent Ted Dimvula, who is also the representative of Rafael Leao.

Eletu, 17, signed his first professional contract with the Diavoli earlier this week. On Wednesday, his representative Dimvula posted pictures of a meeting with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara while his client was putting pen to paper on a new deal with the Serie A champions.

“Congratulations to the young Nigerian midfielder Victor Ehuwa ELETU for signing his first professional contract with AC Milan,” wrote Dimvula on Instagram.

“They will finally understand… God Did! Thanks to his uncle @allelecelestine and his family for the trust.”

Eletu is a central midfielder born in Lagos, Nigeria, on April 1, 2005. He joined the Rossoneri academy a year ago from Cedratese, one of the feeder clubs for the Rossoneri, based in the province of Varese, region of Lombardy.

The Nigerian starlet scored his first senior goal yesterday, helping the Rossoneri secure a 3-2 win over Lumezzane in their first friendly during the World Cup break.

The 17-year-old has yet to make his senior debut in a competitive game but has already collected 32 appearances with the Primavera team, including 12 this season.

He had scored two goals with Milan’s U17 team in 2021-22 and was promoted to the Primavera team in the summer.

His new contract at San Siro expires in June 2025. Milan hope they’ll soon be able to finalise another deal with his representative Dimvula, persuading Rafael Leao to extend his stay at the club beyond June 2024.
