According to Tuttomercatoweb, Piccini will be sent out to Betis for a one-year transfer and no option to make the move permanent.
He grew up in the Fiorentina youth academy, but had loan spells at Carrarese, Spezia and Livorno.
Piccini has one cap for Italy at Under-21 level.
