Fiorentina announce that right-back Gilberto has renewed his Fluminense loan and added an option to buy.
The 25-year-old had already been at Fluminense on loan from January and his deal was due to expire tomorrow.
Before that, he had spells at Verona, Latina and Vasco da Gama.
The Viola paid €2m to buy him from Botafogo in the summer of 2015.
