Fiorentina inaugurated their new training ground’ Viola Park’ on Wednesday with an event attended by all their first team, women’s team and youth sector players, featuring a spectacular drone show.

It was a historic day in Florence as Fiorentina inaugurated their new training ground worth over €100m. It is the biggest in Italy and one of the most technologically advanced in Europe. It hosts 10 different training grounds where all Fiorentina teams have been working since the start of the pre-season.

It was unveiled on Wednesday night with all Fiorentina players invited as well as UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin, Deputy General Secretary of UEFA, Giorgio Marchetti and UEFA’s Chief of Football Zvonimir Boban who had attended Italy’s training session in the afternoon.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino also sent a message through a recorded video during the event, which included a remarkable drone show recreating Florence and Fiorentina’s most iconic symbols, including the famous dome and the club’s new logo.
