Napoli look to maintain their winning streak as they take on an impressive Fiorentina side on Sunday and the Fiorentina vs. Napoli predictions are close. La Viola are unbeaten in the opening two rounds but could be in for a tough afternoon against the Serie A leaders.

Fiorentina vs. Napoli odds

1 – Napoli to win – 14/17

2 – Both teams to score – 8/13

3 – Over 3.5 goals score – 9/5

4 – Napoli to score in both halves – 2/1

5 – Kvaratskhelia to score anytime – 3/1

Luciano Spalletti has overseen a summer of mass overhaul for the Partenopei but it seems to have worked as planned if the early season results are anything to go by. New signings have settled in well with both scoring in last week’s win over Monza whilst Giacomo Raspadori, Giovanni Simeone, Tanguy Ndombele, Salvatore Sirigu have all been signed win recent days with a world-class goalkeeper reportedly on the radar.

Given the strong form that Napoli are in, not to mention Fiorentina’s added complication of a mid-week UEFA Conference League play-off tie, we tip a win for the visitors at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The Partenopei have scored nine goals in their first two games which should point towards yet another high scoring match on Sunday. Furthermore, Spalletti’s defence at times still looks vulnerable whilst the arrival of Luka Jovic has provided a boost to Fiorentina’s front-line. As a result a wager on over 3.5 goals and on both teams to score would be advised for this fixture.

Both teams have also had a habit of starting strong, with Napoli scoring in all four halves of football played and La Viola doing so in their opening fixture. A bet on the visitors to score in both halves may well be a surprise earner.

In terms of player betting, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is very much the man of the moment for the visitors. The Georgian winger had big (figuratively) shoes to fill after replacing Lorenzo Insigne this summer and has done so in style bagging three goals already this season. Kvaratskhelia is our tip to score anytime on Sunday.

Fiorentina vs. Napoli line-ups

Fiorentina (4-3-3) Gollini; Dodo, Milenkovic, Quarta, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Mandragora, Maleh; Ikone, Jovic, Sottil

Napoli (4-2-3-1) Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Kim, Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka; Zielinski; Lozano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia

Fiorentina team news

Vincenzo Italiano will have to rotate his side following a mid-week fixture against FC Twente. This could see the likes of Riccardo Saponara dropped for Riccardo Sottil whilst Dodo is expected to start at right-back over Lorenzo Venuti. Igor remains sidelined through injury meaning Quarta will start yet again.

Napoli team news

Few changes are expected from last weekend’s victory at Monza with Matteo Politano, Diego Demma and Gianluca Gaetano out injured. Mathias Olivers could be handed his first start for Napoli with Mario Rui missing out at left-back. Sunday’s game will likely come too early for new signings Giacomo Raspadori, Giovanni Simeone and Tanguy Ndomebele although the trio may start on the bench.
