Simone Inzaghi will be hoping a rare full week of recovery will help his players here but these Fiorentina vs. Inter predictions suggest a tough weekend for the Nerazzurri. Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano will be demanding three points from his players at home.
Fiorentina vs. Inter odds
1 – The draw – 23/10
2 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 1/1
3 – Lautaro Martinez to score at any time – 7/4
4 – Both teams not to score – 8/13
5 – 1-1 at 90 minutes – 11/2
Fiorentina were made to battle for their point away at Lecce on Monday and that could put them in good stead for the visit of Inter this weekend. The Viola have not really got going yet this season but a draw against one of the top teams could kickstart the campaign.
Goals have been a problem for Vincenzo Italiano’s side, with Luka Jović unable to shine at the Stadio Artemio Franchi so far. The Serbian striker will be unavailable for this one though and that could give some of the other forward players a chance to stake a place.
There still might not be many goals to celebrate though. Only Sampdoria have scored fewer this season and a low-scoring draw could be on the cards if Inter can be contained. That’s a big ‘if’ but the home crowd could help the players pick up an important morale-boosting point.
A draw will be of little comfort to Simone Inzaghi, as he fends off criticism about the way Inter have performed this season. The Nerazzurri sit outside the European places after ten games played – but have won their last two games in Serie A.
There are some very big games coming up before the break for the World Cup and Inter will need to climb the table by then to have a chance of pushing on in the New Year. But the team seem a little off the pace and could have another disappointing evening on Saturday.
Lautaro Martinez might be the one to find the net, so backing him to score at any time seems like a good move. But confidence seems low in the Inter ranks and that could mean that a point is all they take back to Milan this weekend.

Fiorentina vs. Inter line-ups

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; de Vrij, Acerbi, Škriniar; Dimarco, Çalhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Barella, Dumfries; Džeko, Martinez
Fiorentina team news
Luca Jović was forced off very early against Lecce on Monday and may well make way for the visit of Inter. That should see Arthur Cabral start, with Christian Kouamé retaining his place after scoring the only goal against Lecce. Influential midfielder Sofyan Amrabat should also return after serving a suspension.
Inter team news
After the drama over his return in the summer, Romelu Lukaku remains out with an injury, allowing Edin Džeko to keep his place up front. Inzaghi will probably stick with the players that have won two in a row for this one, looking to bring on the likes of Robin Goosens if needed in the second half.
I hope Inzaghi will give a chance for Asllani and Gosens in the starting line up. And, of-course Onana should be the first choice goal keeper as always without hesitate.
These predictions make no sense. A draw and Lautaro to score but both teams not to score?? Lol.
