They are probably not quite as excited as the Cremonese fans though. This will be the first time in 26 years that the iconic grey and red shirts will grace the Italian top flight. But it will be a tough fight to avoid the drop straight back down.

Cremonese managed to get through their Coppa Italia round of 64 tie against Serie B side Ternana on Monday. New signing David Okereke scored in the 3-2 victory after an impressive season on loan at Venezia last season. But the Grigiorossi will find Fiorentina a tougher nut to crack.
