Fiorentina are lodging an appeal against the two-match Serie A ban imposed on defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The ban was announced by the Disciplinary Commission after his straight red card against Torino.
Milenkovic was sent off for what was considered a headbutt on Andrea Belotti, although most in the media acknowledge a yellow card would’ve been sufficient.

The pair went forehead to forehead, but there seemed to be very little aggression in the movement, certainly not enough to warrant a two-match ban.
Milenkovic will certainly be out against Inter, but could return for the game with Sampdoria if the ban is halved on appeal.
