Fiorentina target Poland and Copenhagen goalkeeper Grabara

Fiorentina have set their sights on Copenhagen goalkeeper and Poland international Kamil Grabara according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Sunday afternoon.

La Viola would reportedly like to provide Vincenzo Italiano with a new stopper for the upcoming season, planning an eventual replacement for their current no.1, 33-year-old Pietro Terraciano.

As per Di Marzio’s report, Fiorentina are in discussions with Copenhagen and are ‘working hard’ to get a deal done for Grabara, aged 24.

Grabara grew up in the academy of Polish side Ruch Chorzow, before making a move to join Liverpool in 2016. There, he played predominantly in the youth ranks, as well as on a series of loan moves to Aarhus in Denmark and Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

Since joining Copenhagen in 2021, Grabara has gone on to register 55 league appearances, as well as four in the most recent edition of the Champions League.

2022 also saw Grabara earn his first cap for the Poland senior national team, helping his nation on their way to a 2-1 win over Wales in the Nations League.
