Fiorentina meet with Inter and Juventus target Nikola Milenkovic’s agent to discuss his future, while it’s reported they are offering Aleksandr Kokorin €2m to terminate his contract.

Milenkovic is under contract until June 2023 and is one of the hot favourites to be sold this summer, eyed up by both Inter and Juve if they release one of their centre-backs.

According to RAI Sport’s Viola expert Sara Meini, Fiorentina met with Milenkovic’s agent today, confirming the pact they made last summer.

That was to sell him for €15-20m if the right proposal came along, otherwise to extend his contract by another three years.

Meanwhile, there are reports in Russia via Match TV that Fiorentina have offered Kokorin a €2m severance package if he will terminate his contract early.

The 31-year-old Russian striker was purchased from Spartak Moscow in January 2021 for €4.5m and in 18 months made no impact on the squad whatsoever.

He had 11 competitive appearances for a grand total of 216 minutes of football, during which his only contribution was to receive two yellow cards and miss a couple of open goals.

His contract runs to June 2024, so Fiorentina are desperate to get him off the books.
