Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset both report the swap deal suits the two clubs.

That is because Dalbert interests Fiorentina, whereas Biraghi would be classified as a home-grown player in Inter’s Champions League squad.

However, the holdup would lie with Dalbert, who currently has no plans to leave Inter.

Mediaset, on the other hand, assures he could yet be convinced by the Viola and that loans with options to buy are a possibility.

The broadcasters add Atalanta have already opened talks with the Tuscan club over a possible deal for the Italy international. 

The Dea would also be keeping tabs on Milan’s Diego Laxalt, who in turn has been linked with Parma and Atalanta.

A left-sider is high on their list of priorities after Timothy Castagne suffered a knee injury.
