Fiorentina striker Christian Kouame is expected to have his medical on Thursday, completing a loan move to RSC Anderlecht.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs have reached a complete agreement on the details of the temporary transfer.
It will be a dry loan – so without an option to buy at the end of the season – and Fiorentina are due to receive payment for the use of their player, probably €0.5m.
German side Freiburg had also been interested, but Anderlecht were always the favourites.
Kouame spent his entire career in Italy, spending time in the youth academies of Prato, Sassuolo and Inter.
He flourished at Genoa and secured a transfer to Fiorentina in January 2020 for €12m.
However, his trajectory took a left turn after a devastating knee injury, the anterior cruciate ligament rupture keeping him out of action from November 2019 to the start of the next season.
The forward found the net twice with one assist in 36 competitive appearances for the Viola last term.
