Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Pradè highlighted that ‘all our doors are open’ for Arsenal and Juventus linked star Dusan Vlahovic following the arrival of multiple offers.

The 21-year-old Serbian forward is one of the stars of the season, scoring 17 goals in 21 Serie A matches, and he has attracted the attention of the top clubs around Europe, including the Gunners and the Bianconeri, who are both desperate to secure his signature. Both clubs are reportedly ready to pay significant sums to acquire him.

Speaking on Sportitalia this evening, Pradè first discussed Fiorentina’s plans for the January transfer window.

“The market ends on the 31st, how can I say it’s over? We are ready for any eventuality. We have an important scouting sector and we are managed very well by Joe Barone. We’re happy with the programme of our work.”

The Viola sporting director then provided the latest updates on the Vlahovic saga – media reports suggest that offers from Arsenal and Juventus have arrived for the player, but his agent is refusing to listen to anything, with the player wanting to finish the season in Florence before deciding his future.

“We received some important offers for him. Offers that were very substantial but we never got any feedback from his agents. On our side there has always been great transparency. I refer to what Barone said yesterday, all our doors are open.

“I say this because we want to understand what he wants and what the agents want. We’re also open to sitting down again for the renewal. We have offers to sell him in a strong way. I’m saying this because a club that makes €75m a year and has a valuable asset cannot afford to lose him for free.

“We have to understand what he wants. We are open to everything. I don’t leave room for other interpretations.

“We’re open to everything. But the agents have to tell us their intentions.”

He commented on if the offers was sufficient for Fiorentina.

“They were all valid and satisfactory offers, with payment methods that suited us. We couldn’t go ahead with the deal because there was never any contact with the player’s agents.”

Finally, Prade confirmed the €70m valuation.

“It’s an important valuation, over €70m. With no exchange deal and no way of paying in so many years. The president has imposed it on us.”
