Fiorentina have officially signed right-back Marco Davide Faraoni from Verona, while Hellas agree Josh Doig’s sale to Olympique Marseille.

Verona are completely revamping their squad in the January transfer window and already sold defender Isak Hien to Atalanta.

Faraoni completed his move to Fiorentina today and it is a six-month loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old can play as a right-back, but also in a more advanced attacking role on the right flank.

His previous clubs include Inter and Udinese, giving him 194 Serie A appearances.

Meanwhile, Verona have agreed terms for the permanent transfer of Doig to Olympique Marseille, who beat Torino to his signature.

Nonetheless, he could make one final appearance today against Empoli before flying out over the weekend for that €6m including bonuses deal.

That game kicks off at 17.00 GMT and it is reported he could even be in the starting XI before saying goodbye to fans.
