Despite his excellent performances on loan at Empoli, it’s reported Fiorentina are happy to sell Bartlomiej Dragowski and focus on Alban Lafont.

The club has two very promising young goalkeepers on its books and both want regular first team football.

Lafont arrived this season for €9m and was given the gloves, sending Dragowski on loan to Empoli in January.

The Poland Under-21 international made a real impression, including a record number of saves in the 0-0 draw with Atalanta.

According to Firenzeviola.it, Fiorentina have no intention of removing Lafont from the role of first choice goalkeeper next season.

That means Dragowski is on his way out and the six months at Empoli have bumped up his asking price.

Dragowski is only 21 years old and has been in Florence since the summer of 2016, but made only nine competitive appearances in a Viola jersey.
