Fiorentina have made an offer worth €15m including add-ons for Dinamo Zagreb talent Martin Baturina, but must raise their bid.

Sky Sport Italia report that they have set their sights on the 21-year-old Croatia international, who is a creative, attacking midfielder.

A product of the youth academy at Dinamo Zagreb after coming from Hajduk Split in 2017, Baturina has already contributed four assists in just five competitive games so far this season.

He also has four senior caps for Croatia, despite only turning 21 in February.

Baturina opening bid rejected

According to the latest reports from Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina made an initial proposal worth €12m plus up to €3m in add-ons.

However, Dinamo Zagreb are asking for closer to €20m to sell the sparkling talent on transfer deadline day.

Last season, he scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 51 competitive matches, as well as making a brief cameo appearance in the EURO 2024 tournament for Croatia.

Fiorentina are very active on the transfer market, especially after agreeing Sofyan Amrabat’s sale to Fenerbahce for around €13m.
