Fiorentina have made a €6m plus bonuses offer for Dinamo Zagreb and Croatia international goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic, claim Sky Sport Italia.

According to the Italian source, a proposal has been put forward and is being considered, but will not be enough to do a deal.

His contract only runs to June 2024, which considerably cuts down the original asking price of €12m.

Villarreal had also been linked with the 28-year-old, who made a huge impact at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar by helping his team to reach third place and take a bronze medal.

Livakovic spent his entire career in Croatia at NK Zadar, NK Zagreb and Dinamo Zagreb, but the World Cup performances put him on the global stage.

Fiorentina have several goalkeepers on their books, Pietro Terracciano facing competition from Michele Cerofolini, while Salvatore Sirigu sustained an injury straight after his move from Napoli in January.

They sold Bartlomiej Dragowski to Spezia last summer after a loan spell with Empoli.
