Moise Kean, Danilo Cataldi and Nicolò Zaniolo are out of the Fiorentina squad to face Venezia on Monday, as the Viola try to get their season back on track.

It kicks off at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo on Monday at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT, 18.30 CET).

The Viola are coming off a painful Conference League semi-final elimination at the hands of Real Betis on Thursday, where they eventually capitulated in extra time after a 2-2 thriller, going out 4-3 on aggregate.

Now Fiorentina must focus on improving their Serie A position, especially as there is an opportunity to close up on the teams fighting for fourth place after Lazio and Juventus shared a 1-1 draw.

However, top scorer Kean will not be able to help, because he sustained a knock against Betis and is not even in the travelling party to Venice.

Cataldi is also left behind, while Zaniolo begins the two-match ban after his red card for insulting the referee after their 1-0 defeat to Roma.

Coach Raffaele Palladino is therefore expected to start Lucas Beltran with Albert Gudmundsson in attack.

Pablo Mari is likely to play, as he is cup-tied and therefore could not play against Real Betis.
