After a decent spell on loan with Sampdoria, Stefano Sensi may again leave Inter on loan as Fiorentina register their interest.

The Italian midfielder joined the Nerazzurri in July 2019 from Sassuolo initially in a loan deal worth €2.2m, with a €25m buy option attached. Expectations were high and things started incredibly well in Lombardy, with Sensi scoring three goals and providing four assists in his first six appearances for the club.

Ultimately injuries derailed his debut season in Lombardy and he failed to re-earn a starting spot in the squad, leaving him sidelined.

As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Fiorentina are interested in signing Sensi on loan this summer and they’ve approached Inter over a possible move. The Nerazzurri are open to a loan deal but they’ve made it clear that they expect the Viola to fully cover his salary.

Sensi scored one goal in 11 appearances for Sampdoria this season. His time on the pitch was cut short by injury at the tail end of the season.
