Fiorentina are currently negotiating with LaLiga side UD Almeria over a potential loan deal for former Manchester United academy product Largie Ramazani according to reports from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

La Viola would like to provide coach Vincenzo Italiano with another attacking option before the close of the January transfer window on Thursday evening.

Andrea Belotti arrived on loan from Roma on Wednesday, but Fiorentina could land another wide option in Ramazani.

At this stage of the window, it is likely to be a loan deal for Ramazani rather than a permanent transfers.

The 22-year-old Belgium youth international was on Manchester United’s books for three years between 2017 and 2020, representing them at various junior levels.

His first experience in England was with Charlton Athletic, who also nurtured Atalanta star Ademola Lookman in the early stages of his career. Charlton’s list of academy graduates also includes Premier League regulars Nick Pope, Joe Gomez, Ezri Konsa and Alfie Doughty.

Ramazani has since gone on to enjoy a successful few years in Spain with Almeria, scoring eight goals as they gained promotion from the Segunda Division in 2021-22. He was also called up 33 times in LaLiga last season.
