Fiorentina are pushing to sign Los Angeles FC forward Diego Rossi from MLS, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The 21-year-old Uruguayan can play in any of the three trident attacking roles, but is primarily down the left wing.

It’s reported he has been chosen by new President Rocco Commisso and his right-hand man Joe Barone, as they are based in America and therefore watch Major League Soccer closely.

Rossi only joined LAFC in January 2018 from Penarol, but scored a creditable 13 goals with four assists in 23 MLS matches this season.
