The FIGC’s sporting judiciary found Fiorentina supporters guilty of ‘repeated territorial insults’ at the Artemio Franchi.

It is not the first time Napoli have been targeted by opposing fans on the basis of their locality, with Juventus, Milan, Inter and Lazio all charged over the years.

Elsewhere, Torino boss Walter Mazzarri was fined €5,000 for ‘leaving his technical area and blatantly protesting a refereeing decision’ during his side’s 1-0 win against Udinese.

Zebrette sporting director Daniele Prade, meanwhile, was cautioned for ‘expressing his disappointment to the referee in a heated way’ after the game.

Finally, Juventus’ Alex Sandro, Bologna’s Rodrigo Palacio, SPAL’s Simone Missiroli, Parma’s Riccardo Gagliolo and Udinese’s Sebastien De Maio will all sit out Week 23’s action through suspension.
