Gennaro Gattuso is scouting Lanus winger Pedro de La Vega for Fiorentina and faces competition from Norwich.
According to TyC Sports in Argentina and Sky Sport Italia, new Viola coach Gattuso personally visited the training ground to watch De La Vega in Spain yesterday.
The 20-year-old talent is expected to leave Lanus this summer, having contributed three goals and one assist in 17 appearances in 2021.
Fiorentina aren’t the only side interested in Europe, as English club Norwich are also keeping a close eye on the situation.
He had also been linked with Leeds United last year.
