The two are locked on 26 points from as many games and a win against the Streghe will help Fiorentina take a big step towards safety in Serie A.

Torino are currently 18th with 20 points, but with two games in hand, and Fiorentina are dangerously close to the bottom three ahead of a crucial run-in.

But the Viola will play all their direct rivals away from home over the remaining 12 games in the championship.

With trips to Genoa, Bologna, Cagliari and Crotone waiting for Prandelli’s team, starting with an important match against Filippo Inzaghi’s newly promoted side this weekend.
