Fiorentina fans rage at players after loss in Conference League Final

As reported by Firenzeviola and other media outlets in Athens, many Fiorentina players were in tears in front of the away sector at the end of the game, but fans did not try to console them.

On the contrary, they shouted ‘Respect for our shirt,’ and some Tuscan supporters even ripped out seats, throwing them onto the pitch.

Circa 9,000 Fiorentina fans travelled to Athens over the last few days, hoping to see the Viola win the first major trophy since 2001.

This is the third time they have lost a Final under Italiano, having also lost the Coppa Italia Final against Inter last year.

  1. i have to admit FIORENTINA where awful last night. both teams where poor tbh and i feel sorry for there fans having to support such poor football teams. olympiacos where marginally better but both where poor. im a Milan fan and we arenot what we where but compared to these 2 clubs we are lightyears better. Fiorentina showed no ideas, courage or balls for that matter. i would rather go out and lose on my shield and not like gutless cowards.

  2. Last time Milan visited Greece lost 3-1 from Olympiacos and was disqualified! Also, Olympiacos reached the conference final winning two times Aston Villa, a team with a MUCH more expensive roster than Milan…so…:DDD
